Bruce Darrell is a mixed-media artist best known for creating dimensional paintings on wood that combine nostalgia, whimsy, pop culture, and make-believe. Born in raised in rural Southeastern Oklahoma, Bruce's art career began around the age of 14 when he started painting on rusty old saw blades, cream cans, cow skulls, and anything else he could get his hands on — and soon selling his work across the region. Bruce's latest work reflects his vision to create a world where art connects people with imagination and wonder — reminding them that beauty and play belong in everyday life. Art that speaks to both where we've been and where we dream to go.
